Toki Pona

Toki pona is a conlang (constructed language) created by Sonja Lang in 2001

Toki pona which litteraly means the language of good or the simple language

Toki means talk, hello or language

Pona means good or simple

The second word modifies the first so toki pona is toki which is pona

If I wanted to say: I speak toki pona

I would say:

mi toki e toki pona

mi is me

e is a bit complicated to explain so I'll use the sitelen pona glyph because I feel like it is a good enough way to explain

So e is a pointer. My toki is pointing at toki pona if that makes sense.
